About Us

The Power is in the Pink.
Pink Taxi is both an innovator and following contemporary trends in taxi transport, as reflected in the constant improvement of the services it provides.
From the day it was founded it has been moving in an upward direction, both in increasing the number of vehicles and elevating the quality of service in taxi transportation, as witnessed by regular users of our services and hundreds of passengers.
Pink Taxi contributes 15% of profits to Cabs for the Cure®.
The number of vehicles, as well as the conditions and rules for work made Pink Taxi become one of the most desired companies for taxi drivers to work, as well as one of the most frequently used and most recognizable companies.
Pink Taxi employs professional licensed taxi drivers, always courteous and professional and with excellent automobiles, considering local conditions. We also note that our dispatch center is the most professional one in Chicagoland, with courteous and trained operators working with a single goal - the satisfaction of our users.
Co-founder and CEO Patti Carpenter, woke up one evening with a vision - “I’m going to be Pink”.
Apparently the previous evening Patti had seen a news account depicting NFL, MLB, and NBA players all wearing Pink as well as a scattering of taxi cabs throughout the country painted Pink for the month, Patti asked herself, “why can’t I be Pink and spread the word year round?”
Patti and her husband already had 30 years of experience in the taxi and limousine industries owning and operating 3 previous companies. They had just become empty nesters, sending their youngest son off to college, so with idle time on her hands, a passion in her heart and a cause in her mind, the Pink Taxi concept was born.
Patti, a fifteen year survivor of cancer, could see the importance of early detection and how a positive attitude could make a tremendous difference in the prognosis of cancer. A concept was developing and a business was being born, a new business model with an altruistic purpose and an opportunity to think outside the box.
Patti, along with her Partner Mike, has brought together a team with over 45 years of experience in the transportation and marketing industries. The Pink Taxi home has been established in Park Ridge, Illinois. The environmentally friendly Nissan Cube comfortably seating four, with room for luggage has been designated the signature car, a state of the art GPS based closest vehicle dispatch system using I pads has been developed. Think Pink has been established as the marketing and intellectual property company, the Breast Cancer universal color and Ribbon have been added to the Pink Taxi logo. Cabs for the Cure ® has been trademarked and established as a nonprofit Illinois Corporation (our Federal 501(c)(3) is pending).
Think Pink / Pink Taxi will be contributing 15% of profits to Cabs for the Cure®. On a daily bases consumers will experience exemplary service while supporting a worthy cause.
We appreciate your support and helping us spread the word!
