WOK'n FIRE's Grand Opening in South Barrington and Charity Events

 

South Barrington, IL, August 14 2013 — Another WOK'n FIRE restaurant will open in the growing community of South Barrington, Illinois. WOK'n FIRE combines a modern ambience and sophisticated cuisine with the flavors of Pan Asian Cuisine from Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, and Japan.

Located at 100 W Higgins Rd  South Barrington, IL 60010 in the Arboretum of South Barrington,  WOK'n FIRE will offer a variety of dining experiences from fresh sushi to fine dining to private events, along with a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options. The restaurant is celebrating with two SNEAK PEEK Charity events, Monday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 20th.

On Monday, the charity that will receive a portion of the event's proceeds is the Chicago Chapter of the Walk to End Alzheimer's. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Tuesday's charity is Project HUGS. Project HUGS is committed to improving the quality of life for all individuals who are in need of surgery. The Project HUGS Foundation is a philanthropic surgical program, dedicated to providing individuals with the procedures they desperately need, but cannot afford. WOK'n FIRE's distinct atmosphere and innovative menu offers guests a fresh take on the sushi dining experience. The fare includes traditional sushi, wok-tossed dishes, specialty dishes, seasonal offerings,  as well as Asian-inspired cold and hot plates, entrées, soups, salads and desserts. WOK'n FIRE can also do private events, to-go ordering and catering.
